Newly Installed Grand Chaplain Carole McGee Carole McGee was installed as the Grand Chaplain of the Order of the Eastern Star, Grand Chapter of Texas at the Annual Communication held at the Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas in Waco on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Carole has served the Order of the Eastern Star in numerous ways since she became a member in 1991. She served as Worthy Matron of Mt. Pleasant Chapter twice, in Omaha twice, Pittsburg three times and Daingerfield three times. Over the years she has served as Star Points, both Conductresses, Secretary & Chaplain. She currently serves as Chaplain the Omaha Chapter for her tenth year. She has served the Grand Chapter in several positions such as Deputy Grand Matron, twice, Grand Chapter Poet Laureate, Grand Chapter Fraternal Correspondent and Secretary to the Worthy Grand Patron. She travels to every chapter in Section 9 as well as many in District 1. In addition, she participates in gatherings all over the State of Texas. Last year she was the first recipient of the Golden Star Award for the Pittsburg Chapter where she serves as Secretary of the local Chapter.
