Brinda Rainey selected to Receive “Golden Star Award” for Omaha Chapter # 997 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Brinda Rainey joined the Order of the Eastern Star in 1975 in Naples, Texas. She became a member of Omaha # 997 when Naples OES consolidated with Omaha OES.

She has held the position of Worthy Matron on three occasions in Naples OES. She currently is an organist in Omaha, Pittsburg & Daingerfield chapters. She has performed as an Organist for over thirty years for various chapters. Brinda pro tempore’s other positions on a regular basis. She does an excellent job especially considering I have always noticed her doing her recitations from memory.

Brinda is always supportive of activities of the Lodge and Chapters related to dedicated events, fund-raisers, participation in OES funerals, and so forth.

Brinda is the first recipient of this award for Omaha # 997. She is a strong presence in the chapters and exemplifies the character that should be displayed to other members and the community. It is only fitting that she should be the first recipient of this award for Omaha chapter # 997.
