David Elliott Lodge # 364 presented the Fifty-Year Service Award to Wayne Cason on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10:00am.Brother Wayne Cason, Chaplain of David Elliott Lodge # 364 in Omaha, Texas, received an award for fifty years of service to the Masonic Fraternity. The presentation occurred at the Lodge on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10:00 am. Refreshments were served following the ceremony. Brother Cason has served every office in the Lodge on various occasions including four times as Master of the Lodge since his initiation into the Freemason fraternity fifty years ago. He is an active Church member and Deacon at Concord Baptist Church. In addition, he has been a community minded individual over the years and is one of the diving forces that has made the Omaha City Park a success. David Davey, Master of the Lodge, presented the Award to Brother Cason. He presented Brother Cason with a certificate signed by the Grand Master of Texas and attested to by the Grand Secretary of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas thanking Brother Cason for his fifty years of service to the Lodge and the surrounding community. Brother Davey congratulated Brother Cason for his years of loyal service and invited him to address the Lodge and guests. After Brother Cason addressed the attendees the Master invited members and guests to address brother Cason and the Lodge. After everyone had an opportunity to speak the Master invited everyone to retire to the dining room for refreshments, pictures, and an opportunity to socialize with each other.
