At 1:00 pm, April 26, 2025, the Lodge met with the president and members of “Omaha Cares” to recognize them for their services to the community and present them with a $500.00 donation to assist them in their endeavors to meet the needs of the community. Omaha Cares is a 501 3(C) non-profit organization that was founded in 2013 by the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. We provide financial assistance to cancer patients in the Paul Pewitt CISD area. Some of the vital services provided to cancer patients and their families include referral services, transportation, food, rent & utilities, prescriptions, to name just a few.
Brother David Davey, Master of David Elliott Lodge# 364, presented a check and certificate to the President of the Omaha Catres organization. The Certificate read as follows:
"In honor of your tireless volunteer efforts, recognition of your prominent level of community involvement, your efforts to build connections, foster relationships, and the organization’s positive impact on the OMAHA area highly reflect a spirit of collaboration and compassion. The kindness and dedication of OMAHA CARES has made a world of difference to many individuals and the community. Your outstanding Service inspires us all."
